Description

His voice deepens. Soft whiskers sprout above his upper lip. That sweet baby boy you once held in your arms is becoming a man.

How will you celebrate?

“When I was a child, I spoke like a child, I thought like a child, I reasoned like a child.

When I became a man, I gave up childish ways….”  —1 Corin. 13:11

Extensive research asserts the importance of acknowledging a young man’s entry into adulthood. However, most of Western culture does not mark the transition from boyhood to manhood in any meaningful way. Sadly, an important opportunity is often lost.

Is there a simple way to celebrate this significant milestone?

Celebrating Manhood — A Rite of Passage Guide is a blueprint for hosting a special evening that will acknowledge your son as an adult and welcome him into the world of men.

WHAT PEOPLE ARE SAYING:

Hal & Melanie Young“Celebrating Manhood makes marking the transition to young adulthood easy and doable. This is a step by step guide to a straightforward, meaningful celebration that absolutely any family can pull off. Stacy Farrell has done it again, bringing us a great, biblically-based resource.” —Hal & Melanie Young, Authors of Raising Real Men and My Beloved and My Friend

Paul-Gena-Suarez-sq“Watching our sweet little boys turn into young men is a bittersweet time. Celebrating Manhood gives you everything you need to help the young men in your life celebrate this rite of passage: invitation, guest list, activities, and more. A must-have for every Christian parent’s bookshelf and perfect for pastors and church guidance counselors. ” —Paul & Gena Suarez, The Old Schoolhouse Magazine, LLD

David & Leslie Nunnery“We have downplayed the importance of ceremonies in our culture. We need these rites of passages and ceremonies to build memories and commitment among ourselves and our children, for when we celebrate these milestones something profound happens that etches a new identity on our lives. Stacy Farrell has developed an incredibly easy to follow resource to help Christian families celebrate our sons becoming men” —David & Leslie Nunnery, Teach Them Diligently

We LOVED Celebrating Manhood: a rite of passage guide. Although our son is 18 now and getting ready to graduate, we plan on incorporating some of the aspects of the guide into his graduation party/service. If you have a young man in your home who is on the verge of manhood (around 14-15 years old), this would be a GREAT resource for your family to not only honor him but to celebrate this point in his life.

As a single mother raising a boy without much positive input from godly men, I often wonder what impact am I having upon my son. Will he grow to be a man after God’s own heart? The Celebrating Manhood: a rite of passage guide is an invaluable tool that shows me in simple, easy to follow, step by step directions from a biblical worldview exactly how I can have the positive, lasting, God-centered impact upon my son’s life journey that my heart has long desired to impart. Celebrating Manhood: a rite of passage has certainly been an impetus for inspiration. I highly recommend Celebrate Manhood: a rite of passage guide for all families raising boys.
